P.S:OK,though my price seemed right…
…But lower it today sept’9th from 15000$ to 12000$.
Rare Howdah .577Snider,pistol #6637,made by Wilkinson&Son of England around 1878.
Same used ostensibly on tiger hunts in India using Howdah mount rest on elephants.
Rarely seen in Canada or US…in VG to Exc. shooting condition. Most
Original finish, lots CC on frame & sidelocks, over 90% blue in barrels.
Inside barrels mirrors *bright *
Cased in period leather case…with original key+some ammo included.
Presently one advertised in England by Henry Krank & Co.Ltd, see his asking price $ Non cased. So my price 15000$cdn is very reasonable.See also Holt’s add of similar one.
P.S: Add put with regret, aging obliges. Was with me over 50 years.
