French 1892 Lebel - German nitro proofed

This one is not your typical French service pistol. I’ll explain below…. These are The most modern antique pistol in Canada. These have a swing out cylinder that swings to the right, a cylinder that indexes with a trigger pull when loading and it is an absolute tack driver. I have shot extremely tight groups with factory ammo that is still available in Canada. Chambered in 8mm Lebel. The bore is mirror smooth with excellent rifling. The lockwork is extremely nice on this  one, finish is about 70%. Grips are fair. Mechanically this one is near perfect. The lockup in double action as these were meant to be used is dead solid, the tightest I have ever seen with ZERO wiggle. 

The rarity of this one is it has original French proof marks and also German smokeless proofs. Originally a French military pistol it was later re-proofed for smokeless rounds in Germany. 

I also have approx 500 8mm Lebel copper plated boolits and about 50 primed and unprimed brass available. (I use a modified 30 carbine die to seat- no case sizing needed with these low pressure rounds that I’ve found)
