This is an English retailed double-barrel brass flintlock pistol in excellent condition. It functions perfectly and has a strong action. It was made circa 1790 - 1810 and is finely engraved. The pistol has two powder holes on the top. The shooter can choose which barrel to fire by turning the switch on the side. It would have been an effective weapon for self defense or as a back-up weapon for an officer during the Napoleonic wars. Seldom encountered and scarce to find.
