French Model 1892 Service Revolver. 4.5" barrel, 6 shot, chambered in 8mm Lebel. Frame manufactured in 1897 with barrel installation and finishing in 1898. G28### was last frame SN produced in 1897, meaning this is one of the newest antique classed 1892's available. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are great, lockup has zero play. Bore and cylinder walls rate good with common wear. Exterior finish is in good shape. Original grips show varnish discoloration, lanyard ring is intact. Swing out cylinder and ejector works well as it should. Fiocchi manufacturers modern 8mm ammo and it's available in Canada.
