German Model 1883 Reichsrevolver manufactured by the Erfurt factory in Germany. 4.5" barrel, 6 shot, chambered in 11mm German Ordnance which is equivalent to the more common 44 Russian. Most use 44 Russian in their Reichsrevolvers as it's a great option. The action on this piece functions well. Half and full cock work well, half cock doesn't hold far back to keep firing pin from rubbing brass. Timing and lockup are good. Bore and cylinder walls rate good with areas of wear/corrosion. Original grips are in good shape, lanyard ring is intact. Serial numbers all appear to match. Safety lever is missing end, as such its can turn around loosely, would be easy for someone to weld an end on. If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire.
