German Reichsrevolver Model 1883

German Model 1883 Reichsrevolver, manufactured by VCS CGH in Suhl Germany, 4 5/8" barrel, 6 shot, chambered in 10.6mm German Ordnance which is equivalent to the more common 44 Russian, most use 44 Russian in their Reichsrevolvers. All serial numbers match. These Reichsrevolvers are well built, robust revolvers with a long service history. The action on this piece functions well. Half and full cock work great. Timing and lockup are great as well. The sideplate safety lever works well as it should. Loading gate spring works good. Original grips show expected wear, lanyard ring is removed. 2 of the chambers have been slightly machined at some point, not sure why, all chambers work well with 44 Russian.
