Italian 1874 Revolver, State Arsenal Produced

Italian Model 1874 Service Revolver manufactured by Italian state arsenal Reale Fabbrica d'Armi Brescia. The Italian 1874 was based on the French 1873 Service Revolver platform. These 1874's have a 6" barrel and are chambered in 10.4mm Italian Ordnance. Many of the Italian revolvers had their cylinders lightly machined to accept the more common 44 Russian brass, this example does accept 44 Russian. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are great. Half and full cock work well. Bore and cylinder walls are in good shape with some common wear. Original checkered grips are in very good shape, lanyard ring is intact. Overall a great, seldom seen Italian 1874 example! If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire.
