Italian Model 1874 Service Revolver. This is a double-action, Chamelot-Delvigne-style revolver manufactured by G. Glisenti in 1874, for the Italian military. 6 1/4" barrel, 6 shot. Chambered in 10.4mm Italian Ordnance, full length 44 Russian brass fits in cylinder excellent and 44 Russian ammo with RNFP lead works best. These 1874's are very well made revolvers and seldom hit the market. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Half and full cock work well. Timing and lockup are good. Bore shows very nice with strong rifling. Left grip has slight wiggle/play, lanyard ring is intact. Exterior finish retains a fair bit of its original factory finish.
