Iver Johnson Model American Bulldog in 44 Russian caliber. 2.5" barrel, 5 shot. These compact American Bulldogs in large bore calibers were quite the force to be reckoned with back in the day! This example is priced low as it needs some work. Good quality American bulldog examples often go in the $2500 plus range so if you're handy or know a gunsmith here's you're chance for a great deal. This revolver will be sold as-is for repair, ill describe the best I can all the pros/cons with nothing hidden. Needs a trigger return spring as the trigger needs to be reset each time. In double action it functions well and rotates cylinder/activates and drops hammer well just needs trigger manually reset. Timing is great, lockup is very solid on 3 chambers and has slight movement on 2 chambers. Single Action the hammer won't hold cock. Original eagle embossed grips are in good shape. Both trigger guard screws appear non original. One rear trigger guard pin missing. Cylinder rod and release works excellent. Bore and cylinder walls show expected wear. Front sight  is missing,  scratches on barrel. Again sold as-is for a low price as it needs work, has great potential. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own.
