Very Rare early variant Remington Model 95 Type 1 Derringer in 41 Rimfire. Under 2000 of this early model were produced. The signs of the early Type 1 variation is the barrel address between the barrel ribs on both sides and no extractor, these were made circa 1866, if only this pocket pistol could talk of where it's been through those tumultuous years post Civil War. The barrel to frame connection is solid and the hinges are in great shape with no cracks or signs of repair. Half and full cock work well. Firing pin is in good shape. Exterior finish is worn, top strap has dings. Bores show expected wear for a pistol of this era. Original grips are in good shape with common wear. One of the most recognizable, iconic handguns of the American West! Comes with some great extras: 4 new reloadable brass and 4 lead. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $2295 includes Free Shipping, 4 Brass, 4 lead and paperwork. If you have any questions or need more pictures or video please feel free to ask.
