Webley Mark 1 Service Revolver, 4" barrel, 6 shot. These break top Webley's were highly regarded throughout the British empire as they allowed rapid loading/reloading. This example is chambered to accept reduced 45ACP handloads with moon clips (2 included), original 455 Webley with use of included spacer ring as well as 45 Auto. The ability to use 3 different brass options! The action on this revolver functions excellent in single and double action. Timing and lockup are great. Bore and cylinder walls rate good with some common expected wear. Grips are modern replacements in great shape, lanyard ring is intact. Revolver bears the desirable NP nitro proof mark showing it was pressure tested around the turn of the century upon introduction of stronger powders. Extractor works well as it should and lifts upon barrel tilt to eject brass and snaps back in place upon full barrel tilt. Barrel to frame connection is great. Low 3 digit serial number matches on frame, barrel and cylinder. If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire. Antique status in Canada, no PAL required to purchase or own. Will include an RCMP FRT printout showing antique status in Canada. $4195 includes Free Shipping, 2X 45ACP moon clips, 1X 455 spacer ring and antique paperwork.
