Webley MP Metropolitan Police Revolver. Chambered in 450/455, 455 Webley fits and functions well in this revolver, 2.5" barrel, 6 shot. These compact MP revolvers were popular among Police services throughout the British empire, this one has a Police 789 rack number on the right side, as well the iconic handcuffed hands emblem on the left side. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double. Timing and lockup are great. Bore and cylinder walls rate good-very good for a vintage revolver. Original one piece checkered grip is in good shape and free of cracks, lanyard ring is intact. The tiny extractor rod screw is not present, as such the rod can be fully removed, rod stays in place well from natural pressure retention. If you need brass, lead or dies please inquire.
