Barrel and Stock had been shortened down to Canoe Gun length.
Bore is small 58 cal or smaller.
Serpent side plate is half in tact.
Butt plate has been removed, I have been told this was common on Native used guns. The butt plates would be used as such things as hide scrapers
Half cock kind of holds, but will not hold when trigger is pulled. Will not hold full. Sear and tumbler surfaces would need to be recontoured for hammer mechanism to work.
I got it at a gun show in South Eastern Ontario. Not sure where it came from, but only if it could tell us the stories it has been through.
