Here for sale is a deactivated Soviet Molot Oruzhiye factory manufactured RPK light machine gun, an interesting member of the legendary AK family which we here in Canada few ever have the opportunity to touch one.
This specimen is of typical early 1990s deactivation to UK standards, which was fairly lenient at the time. There is a small crossed swords DA and 93 stamp to the left of the receiver, indicating the deactivation work was done by Birmingham proof house, which is one of two official UK entities (along with London) that inspects and certifies these weapons to ensure they meet legal requirements.
Hammer was welded, the feeding ramp got chopped off while barrel is pinned.
C**ks and clicks. Safety moves up and down, trigger pulls, mag removable bipod fold and unfold.
Will be supplied with a 5/30 steel mag. Can sell Bakelite 5/30 mag or (pinned to 5) 75 drum for additional fee depending on which one you want.
