Deactivated H&R American Double Action
- Category
- Firearms Replicas or Deactivated
$250 local or $270 shipped anywhere. . Deactivated, no pal required. Cylinder is welded to the frame, does NOT index. Hammer is welded to the top strap. Trigger moves. No springs under the grips. Barrel is a machined steel pin, no bore, no rifling.
Made from 1878-1942. Very long production run. Some are antique, others prohib or restricted.
No cock. No disassembly, other then the grips.
No offers thanks. I see ppl ask $350-550. This one's an interesting piece of history and not just a welded up paperweight.
Frame pins are so pitted and worn doubt you could knock em out, maybe could drill em out if you wanted the trigger and guard for a live one.
Cannot be reactivated, even if exempt, to far gone. Model marking is barely legible on the top strap. Gun has been painted as it had a strong patina with minor to moderate pitting throughout.
Was found in a barn or shed somewhere in canada. So it obviously doesn't look brand new, because of that.
Would of been 38 SW or 38 colt as it has no loading gate just the guide on the frame.
Also have a deactivated Stevens Crackshot Rifle for $175. Also NO PAL.
My prices are well below market value on deactivated firearms.
Proof of age in effect for anyone with less than 5 reviews.
All sales are Final. No return
