Selling my Marlin 336-44 chambered in 44 Magnum. This rifle is first year production made in 1963. It’s in excellent condition for its age, the only issues being some light scratches on the magazine tube and a small crack at the front of the forend. The stock is stamped ‘NRA Test’. I confirmed with the NRA museum that this was done to NRA Publication guns, which normally stay with the NRA Museum, so no idea how this one got away. This is a beautiful example of an early production 336-44, which was discontinued in 1967 in favor of the Marlin 1894.
