Older version of the 39. It has no butt plate and the screws have been stripped somewhat. Regular wear on the gun for its age. It will shoot Shorts, Longs and Long Rifle. Safety is in the bolt, after chambering a round the bolt needs to be pulled rearward to cock the hammer. Great inexpensive starter gun.
