Remington Berthier Sporter

Remington made Berthier sporter. Originally manufactured as a 07/15, appears to have been sporterized some time before 1932. Hidden in the stock was a handwritten note bundled with a pack of matches, appears to have been written by one Ralph-Ramsay Williams. Not an "N" stamped barrel, so it accepts PPU factory ammo without putting stress on the brass. Comes with 3 Berthier clips. In fantastic condition with some pitting on bolt and butt plate.
