Read full description. Brand new never fired. Forend fitted and sat after that. One caveat; one of the front sight screws stripped on install. User error unfortunately, so if you’re more handy than I, have a good gunsmith, “know a guy”, or just don’t care and will put an optic on it, my loss will be your gain. The forend is also designed for the 30/30 but saw guys online adapt them as the 45-70 version seems to be impossible to find in Canada by filing a small amount on the forend itself (not the rifle) on the piece that interfaces at the receiver/mag tube. Solid fit and lock up. Thought levers would be my thing but I’ll still with my bolt guns.

As the title reads it’s unfired and otherwise still in brand new condition. I’ll sell with the original box and contents along with the factory forend and hardware.
