Nice specimen of old school Remington quality. This is a Model 788 chambered in 308 Win. It has a Champion synthetic stock the mounts the action well as some internal fitting has been sone (Unlike many other's I've seen). Has an 18.5" barrel, one 3 shot detachable mag and Weaver bases. Bluing is excellent. Stock has a bit of residue on t from the filler material. Have not got to the range and have replaced it with another short 308 so up she goes. 788's are more often than not, very accurate rifles with better than normal triggers. I have owned many and all were great shooters.
