Up for sale is a very well made 1882 swiss revolver with original finish. These Revolvers were kept in service all the way until 1970s, this should speak to its quality. Only aprox 7000 are eligible antiques in Canada and this one made in 1896 is around the end of the production allowed. It has almost all of its original bluing and about 75% of the golden strawing still(most of its missing from the cylinder rod) The action is strong and accurate and locks up properly. The bore is bright with good rifling. The grips are not original and most likely replacements from the factory (later models all had the same grips). They fit very well and have no wiggle. Maintenance is super easy and takes about 1 minute to disassemble, each part is numbered so you don't get confused. This gun is miles ahead of its time.
This revolver is top in the list of best shootable antiques in Canada. Ammo options are Fiocchi 7.5 swiss ordnance, H&C makes a good reloading kit, and of course .32 S&W long. "blok on the range" on youtube has some good videos about this revolver.
Open to trades for another high condition European gun.
