Time to sell one of the prizes of my collection.
I am offering this excellent condition Snider Mk. III Artillery Carbine, with proper Mk. III bolt w/catch and steel barrel. Dated 1870, this is a TRUE artillery carbine conversion Snider, with proper front sight, rear ladder sight, 5 groove barrel and no barrel bayonet lug.
This is an antique so no PAL needed, only proof of being over 18!
The wood is in excellent condition, and the bore is a solid 8.5/10 with clear, deep rifling and only a small amount of graying. See pictures.
I have successfully shot this carbine in Canadian Black Powder Competition and scored well with it, in April of this year!
This carbine has been professionally serviced, greased, cleaned and ready to go by the Chief Gunsmith of the Canadian International Muzzle Loading Team, Walter Krawec.
Comes with 50 brand new pieces of brass and .58 Cal pure lead Bullets!!! That's worth $300+ alone!!!
