I have a 1941 Lee Enfield Mk.III Lithgow SMLE for sale. This rifle is in very very good condition for its age. It has been sitting in a safe and cleaned periodically since the 1970’s and never used or fired. The bore is in excellent condition (see photos).
Numbers:
-Barrel and Receiver matching (See Photos)
-Bolt seems to be a different number (See Photos, I’m not an expert on these rifles)
No pitting no rust. Wood is in very good condition. It does have a few handling kisses from being in a safe and moved around for cleaning purposes. A few superficial kisses here and there there but nothing major. Bolt action is smooth and clean. Everything operates as it should.
