Up for grabs is a Squires Bingham 16R project that I've been hanging onto for far to long, and doubt I'll ever get around to working on it.
What is included: The rifle is complete, with the elusive magazine. The barrel lining is bright and clean, with light, but good rifling. The action works as it should, and there's no damage to the stock.
What it needs: The stock looks like it has had a garbage paint job at one time. It's missing the hold down bolt to attach the action to the stock (I haven't had time to track down a replacement, but there's a short bolt included with the correct threads to match one up). The spring loaded stock extension doesn't appear (to me), to extend as far as it should, and the upper vented hand guard is missing one small hold down screw, and requires the ring mounts to be put onto the barrel. Aside from a couple of small surface rust spots on the barrel, everything else in solid.
My description makes it sound like a lot of work is required, but really, it's not a major project, if one wants to even bother with much of it. And, to note: I haven't fired this , so I would suggest that anyone not feeling overly lucky, to check with an expert on it's functionality.
Selling for $275, shipped anywhere in Canada. And of course, a valid PAL is required, and everyone's time will be wasted with the online PAL check. Open to offers, and local pickup in the GTA.
