The Winchester 1892 is one of the historical rifles that cemented lever actions as a favorite firearm of the American Old West. Designed by none other than John M. Browning, the Chiappa Firearms’ 1892 is a true reproduction, with some parts being interchangeable with an original 1892. Metal parts are precision made on modern CNC equipment, while the beautiful wood stocks are hand finished and crafted for a perfect metal to wood fit. Chiappa manufactures models to suit anyone’s need; from the classic 1892 Takedown Rifle with an octagonal barrel to the modern performance oriented, hard chromed 1892 Alaskan, to the Mare’s Leg® made famous by Hollywood.

This specific rifle is in Mint condition with less than 150 rounds through it.  It is made for bad weather but in practice, I rarely used it and I do not want it to simply sit. 44 mag has mild recoil in this rifle as I added a Canadian engineered muzzle brake specifically designed for this rifle. It is relatively inexpensive (compared to high-powered rifle) to shoot and easy to reload. The leather butt-stock sleeve is very high quality and an $100 bonus (free with rifle). The sling is set up and personal so will not be included. It will be sold with the original box.

If a buyer wishes, I can sell the rifle with a decent 2x7 scope and mount, along with 44 rem mag dies, lead and jacketed bullets and about 100 cases. If local we could talk about the ammo that I have in stock for it as well as H110 powder. Let me know and we can work out a good price.

If you have a good quality compound bow, I would accept that in partial trade but we would need to meet FTF I assume given the expense of shipping a bow. Also note that costs for shipping are sharply up at the moment and to ship a firearm is a minimum of $55 and up to $90 in Canada so the above price of $1100 is qualified as the buyer accepts to pay 50% of shipping on top of price of the rifle. Note that the muzzle brake alone is a $150 value and available from one company (a Canadian invention). Shooting this 44 rem mag with the brake is smooth- a push rather than a punch, even with hotter 1500 fps+ loads. Less than 150 rounds down the barrel which is why I am selling. It simply is not being used.
