Since my shoulder has completely gone I can no longer shoulder a rifle let alone handle the recoil to my shoulder anymore. I'll be like this for the foreseeable future as I cannot get a doctor to agree to actually do anything I've decided I need to free up some cash.
This is a Steyr SSG 69 PII that has had some upgrades.
First off the rifle is topped with a Steyr SSG rail. Secondly, I've swapped the magazine and bottom/trigger guard to metal that accepts AICS magazines. No more finicky plastic magazines an no worries of breaking your triggerguard. This is an extremely hard piece to find and had to be ordered from Europe. Third, the rifle has a sling stud bipod adapter.
The rifle will come with the scope, which is a Burris Veracity PH Gen II 40-20x50. This scope attaches to your phone and allows you to simply dial to the distance you want to shoot without having to do that math. You just input your load data into the app and upload it to the scope and away you go. The rifle will also come with the bipod as well.
This rifle has loved all ammo I've fed it. I've shot the cheapest PPU Match ammo and it grouped easily under 3/4 MOA all the way up to Hornady Precision Hunter. I even dropped a moose at 598 yards with the Precision Hunter ammo with a single round to the moose's head.
The "Bad"; I painted the rifle with Krylon because I wanted a sort of distressed camo look. This can be taken off easily as I didn't clear coat it because I wanted it to distress normally as I used it. The other bad part two chips out of the stock. This was done by the previous owner and are located underneath where the bipod attaches. It does nothing to ruin the strength of the rifle and isn't even seen with the bipod attached. I will certainly take a picture for those interested.
This picture shows the rifle during this hunting season before I changed the scope out. This Nightforce was sold and the Burris installed.
This is a grouping I did with the PPU Match, the cheapest match grade ammo I could find. I'm currently running Hornady TAP ammo through the rifle and it does the same if not a little better. Hornady Precision ammo does the same.
I will include all ammo I have for this rifle along with 4 boxes of Gold Medal Match primers for those that reload if you're local. I think I currently have around 100 rounds of factory ammo in various flavours.
For all of it I am asking $4500.
