1893 Mauser

1893 Mauser..7×57mm..designed by Paul Mauser..made in Loewe, Germany..these were known as Spanish Mausers..popular because they loaded faster than the Enfeild and Krag rifles..loaded 5 round by means of a stripper clip..these were sporterized into popular hunting rifles after the war..made for 50 years..they ceased production in 1943..this rifle is mechanicaly fine and complete..in full military dress..it could be cleaned up..or used for many hard to come by parts.
