/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Winchester Model 1892 in 44 W.C.F (44-40 Caliber).
Handed down through the generations of our family but it's time to sell.
Action is smooth, stock is clear and solid
Rifling is worn: lands and grooves barely visible in bore. This rifle would be a candidate for a gunsmith to machine out the bore and insert a new sleeve and rifling should you wish to return its shooting accuracy. The full diameter barrel of this old 44WCF throughout its length makes this process easier than barrels that taper towards the muzzle.
Refinished and re-blued circa.1975
Known deficiencies are reflected in the asking price.
Serial Number 345966
PAL Required.
A beautiful old rifle with potential
All sales final
$850
