Spanish FR7 in 7.62 NATO

Very good condition cold war rifle from Spain. The Spanish mauser 1916/50s was converted into a 7.62 x 51 caliber Intermediate rifle for police and Spanish army to train for the CETME rifle featuring a unique specialized, hooded and rotatable disc rear sight often referred to as a 'drum' or 'carousel' sight similar to those found on the CETME C and FR8 rifles. The FR7 features a unique flash suppressor with a wire cutter tool.

It is estimated that only 4000-5000 FR7's were made and are more rare than the FR8 making this rifle more desirable for collectors.

This rifle comes with as new bayonet and original sling.

The rifle has been carefully scrubbed with steel wool and finished in boiled linseed oil.
