WWI 1917 Carcano TS - TRUPPE SPECIALI - Arditi

This is the original TS carbine made during WW1 for the Italian army, issued to artillery and the Arditi (The Daring Ones). They were elite assault troops in the Italian army, very early special forces during WWI, hand to hand combat with daggers was their speciality.

Originally these had a transverse bayonet lug (locks in sideways) but after WWI these rifles were modified from the special transverse bayonet to the standard bayonet, they look Identical, the lug was the only change.

The rifle is in good working shape and considering how scarce these are you likely wont see another one that is from WW1, very few survived. 

No cracks or breaks in the stock, wood is solid, it has dings from use, it seen action in WW1, guaranteed, this is not a safe queen, very good chance this thing did some bad things back in the day!
