I have a Long Branch No 4 Mk 1* built in 1944. It has a 5 groove barrel, Canadian Walnut furniture with appropriate markings and all LB marked metal parts. Bolt and receiver numbers match. The butt plate is alloy. I believe the rifle has been refurbished at some point due to the overall condition. The bluing looks to be original, as there is no evidence of re-bluing.
It comes with a really nice 1944 dated Canadian sling and a Long Branch marked bayonet with Canadian marked web frog. Oiler and pull through here as well.
