Ross mkIII Canadian Rangers rifle

Selling a Ross mkIII in good overall condition.  metal finish is worn but not rusty, bore is dark with strong rifling.  the rear peep sight is missing and has been replaced with a open sight abortion that someone conjured up.  stock has numerous usage marks and a small stable crack at tang.   this rifle has an interesting history having seen action in WWI then withdrawn from front line service and sent to the Royal Navy depot in Crombie Scotland (hence the CRB mark).  in 1947 the Canadian government modified a number of these rifles for use by the Canadian Rangers.
