This is a highly upgraded Ruger American Ranch chambered in 7.62x39. This is not your basic ranch rifle — it started out as a simple truck/bush gun, but the project kept evolving into a much more refined and capable setup.

The rifle is fitted into an MDT LSS Gen 2 chassis, allowing it to run AR-pattern Duramag magazines. This makes it far more versatile and affordable to feed compared to factory options.

Upgrades / Comes with:

MDT LSS Gen 2 chassis (AR mag compatible)

BCL folding stock (hard-to-find, only available on BCL rifles)

Can also add:

MDT muzzle brake (virtually eliminates recoil) ($100)

6x Duramag magazines (mix of 5/20 rounders) ($240)

Vortex 3-9x SFP scope (minor cosmetic scratch, no impact on function) ($150)

This setup is lightweight, compact (especially with the folding stock), and extremely fun to shoot. Great for hunting, range use, or as a practical bush rifle.

The rifle is very accurate for the platform and caliber — easily capable of ~1” groups at 100m and has no issues making consistent hits out to 300m. Runs reliably with AR mags, which is a huge upgrade over the original set up.
