Enfield produced No1 mk 3 in 1917. Looks like it could have been a partially restored sporter. Nose cap doesn't match the receiver and it appears to have some drill purpose parts from an ishapore rifle probably, (barrel band, rear sight protector). Besides that the bolt matches the receiver.
Great headspace on this one and good bore. This gun is a great shooter. I forgot to take a pic of the bullet muzzle test but it's got plenty of rifling left.
Has the windage adjustment on the rear sight and the older style cocking piece. Upon removal of the upper handguard I found a mark peened in the side of the barrel with the #32, from doing some research it appears it could have been re barreled by the armory in 1932.
Besides that I don't know much about it. Its a great shooter though, good groups and the sights are pretty dead on.
Mostly looking for local sale but might be willing to ship.
