Produced before the outbreak of the German-Soviet War, this rifle represents a pre-war example of one of the most iconic military rifles of the 20th century.

The rifle remains in its military configuration and shows the typical characteristics of a Soviet arsenal-refurbished example. The metal finish remains in very good condition overall, while the stock displays honest service and storage wear consistent with military use.

The bore is a standout feature, showing strong, well-defined rifling throughout. Mechanical function is smooth and the rifle presents well overall.
