Mauser 98-pattern rifle produced under the German K98k / Mod.98 system, receiver marked Mod.98 / dou 45.
The “dou” marking is the German wartime factory code for Waffenwerke Brünn AG, Bystrica works (Brno II). Production year 1945.

Chambered in 7.92×57mm (8mm Mauser) with an approximately 24-inch barrel. Bore shows strong, well-defined rifling, a major positive feature.
Fitted with a straight bolt handle; bolt cycles smoothly and the internal magazine functions properly. Overall mechanical condition is solid.

Serial numbers are non-matching. Given the late-war 1945 production date, this rifle is reasonably believed to have undergone wartime or immediate post-war arsenal parts mixing or replacement, which is commonly encountered on late-war K98k / Mauser 98 rifles and does not indicate modern assembly.

Stock shows normal service wear and handling marks but remains structurally sound with no cracks or looseness. Metal components show no obvious cracks or signs of major repair.
