This is a Schmidt–Rubin Gewehr 1899 straight-pull rifle, chambered in 7.5×53.5mm GP90.

The rifle retains matching serial numbers on the major components, with the exception of the magazine.

It is built on the 1899-pattern receiver, which is more compact than the earlier Model 1889.
The shortened left receiver opening and lower rear bridge are consistent with the 1899 receiver design.

The action and magazine well are configured for the GP90 cartridge system.
The magazine is non-matching but correct in type and dimensions.

The rifle is accompanied by an original Swiss brass muzzle protector (Krallen-Schoner M1890), correctly fitted to GP90-pattern barrels and not compatible with later GP11 barrels.

Condition:
Bore is bright with clear rifling.
Action operates smoothly.
Wood shows normal historical handling marks.
