Selling a Chinese made Mauser 98 with Kwangtung Arsenal marks, this is a typical Pre ww2 Kwangtung (guangdong ) Arsenal production rifle.
It has a total production of 50,000 and later produced Chiang Kai Shek rifles after October 1937 and ended manufacturer till Japanese occupation in 1940. These rifles are rare due to the total production years pre 1945 and only 2 years of production time period.
Chambered in 8mm mauser. Bore is great. Wood is free from cracks ( a small hairline on top hand guard which is repaired and hardly noticeable) Sadly is not matching at all which is common for Chinese Militia export rifles. The action cycles fine and pass the headspace test.
