Up for grabs is a Chinese contract Vz24 made by Czechslovakia in Brno. Commercial 1937 dated which is the last batch of shipment send to China/ Japan pre WWII.
Condition is good and parts mismatched as most of the Chinese mausers. It has a new barrel of correct military 8mm VZ24 barrel from 1940s and 9.9/10 of factory rifling unlike most of the shot-out militia rifles.
Main stock /Wood stock is good but the upper handguard has a crack which from years ago but more like a cosmetic issue. Cleaning rod present, well restored rifle with rich history.
Lots of Chinese militia markings, one side is marked "安-操練 / Safe, for Drill Purpose " and the other side is marked "山東36D/ Shandong province ,36th Division" but the troop is unlikely to be found due to lost of documents, maybe from 1950-1960s.
Asking 1499 plus shipping if needed.
