Winchester Model 1892 32 W.C.F. or 32-20 Winchester with full length magazine and 24" round barrel, lever action dated 1918.
Factory wood is very good with no cracks or gouges, but has been period lacquered. Screws are, for the most part good but a couple show use. Original metal curved butt pad laquered but in excellent shape. All metal good. Bluing on receiver at less than 25%, magazine and barrel show signs of a period re-bluing now at 40-60%. Bore shows minor corrosion from use with black powder, shows signs of polishing, but is very usable. Rifling throughout but shows use. Muzzle of rifle show marks but crown looks good. Original sites intact, with full buckhorn and, coarse and fine elevators in place.
I have no snap caps for this caliber. Gate on magazine solid, loading ramp works as it should, ejector is solid with good spring, half cock safety solid and strong hammer spring. There is nothing here to make me concerned. I grade this firearm as 'Good'.
