Winchester Model 88 .308 good condition with slight flaw

Winchester Mod 88 - .308 that has been re-blued and stock done.  The rifle looks great except for a close up view of the muzzle area and just behind the front sight where some deep pitting rust is covered fairly well with the recent bluing. The pitting has been taken down as much as can be, and the bluing covers most of it up. Basically on first views the gun looks in v/g condition except for the underlaying pitting at the front of the barrel. The barrel has been cut back 2 inches and the sight reinstalled by a gunsmith to make a carbine look. The rifle is a 20 inch barrel now not 24 inch. I acquired this rifle on a trade deal and had it cosmetically improved as best possible. I have not fired it.  However the action cycles like it should. The previous owner disclosed that he had only fired maybe 100 rounds though it. Selling for $1400.00 OBO plus shipping.   No trade interests whatsoever please!   Thanks for looking.
