Made in China with tooling provided by the Germans, with preproduction starting in 1935. This rifle was produced in Nanjing 21st arsenal. The most sought after due to its iconic crest of a bow and arrow surrounded by the Great Wall of China (Gear wheel and Bow) with a reverse swastika (Wan).
These rifles are now highly prized by Taiwanese Canadians and considered heirlooms, and very poor condition examples selling for $2500+ and deactivated ones for $1000+. This sporterized rifle is a rare opportunity to own a shootable piece of history for cheap, and is an excellent candidate for future restoration as its receiver is fully intact.
Rifles in good condition for age and history including bore. Chambered in .30-06
