Smith & Wesson Model 1500 .30-06 RARE!

For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 1500 bolt-action rifle in .30-06. The Smith and Wesson 1500's were made by Howa, the same barreled action as the Weatherby Vanguard. The lustrous blue metal finish and the hand-rubbed smoothness of select American walnut give Model 1500 rifles the look and feel of far more expensive guns. And close inspection will show these fine rifles are built to the exacting specifications and quality standards that promise the many years of performance and accuracy expected of a Smith & Wesson. Barrel Length is 22 inches and has a 5 shot detachable magazine. It weighs approx. 7 pounds 10 ounces and was Imported 1983-1984. This model's production run lasted for only two years, and it has now become a collector's item. This one was purchased and had a tasco 2-7x32 scope mounted and never fired. The scope at that time was around $300 and was very popular. This gun is mint and a 10/10 so very much a collectors piece to display! That being said, there is an open recall on the bolt which I have contacted the company about and they are sending a new bolt after I send this one back. I have not done so yet if you want the new bolt so u can safely shoot it then it can be arranged but if you want it just to admire and show off then no need to do so. Up to you!
