WW2 British Lee Enfield No4 MkI .303
Stock is sporterized, however this WW2 1944 dated rifle has an uncut barrel and no drill holes in receiver, so can be fully restored.
Produced by Royal ordnance Factory Maltby in Yorkshire
The 5 groove bore is very good with very strong rifling. .303' gauge does not run so bore is tight.
Head space is optimized on the armour's gauge .070" and firing pin protrusion is good.
Bolt matches receiver serial #.
