This is a very clean Savage 1899 in 303 caliber manufactured in 1901. Beautiful 3 D engravings of Bear and Moose in forest setting . The engraving is presentation quality by an Ontario engraver. The rifle itself was cold blued and stocks re-stained by me. They are numbers match stocks and no filler was used anywhere. The action is tight and smooth. The rifling is 80 percent plus. One of two Savage 99's I have left of a collection of 104 Savage 99's assembled over 25 years.
