NO TRADES. From an estate - I don’t know the history on it. Appears to be a scrubbed German Mauser 98 action with a target weight BSA .243 barrel on it. Barrel is 20 inches long with an excellent bore. Crisp and shiny rifling. Weaver bases mounted. I have cycled ammunition through it and tested it with dummy shells but I have not test fired it. Stock is an aftermarket walnut custom one with a grip cap and an older butt pad . THE SAFETY DOES NOT WORK OR ENGAGE. Not sure if the builder saw this as a bench gun and didn’t want to mod the original safety for scope clearance. Nice old heavy gun ready to knock over some coyotes.
