NO TRADES. Both are 30-06 I’ve had these 2 for awhile. Rifle is a Rem 30 Express with a 22 inch barrel. Excellent bore. Original bluing is in good condition. Shoots and functions A1. Rifle is accurate. Wood is in good shape with no cracks. Small chip out of pistol grip bottom and a dowel on the forestock underside that has filled a sling swivel. Carbine is a very uncommon 30-R Carbine with a 20 inch barrel. Excellent bore and shoots and functions A1. Buttstock has had a butt pad added years ago. Bluing is well worn on the barrel but no pitting. This one has had a replacement Timney trigger I believe. It is set up nicely trigger-pull wise. No cracks in the wood but shows hunting and handling wear. These Model 30s were factory made on receivers left over from WW1 by Remington as sporting rifles. They are not common and the carbine is even less so. By far less production at the time versus Winchester with their models 54 and 70. One steel Lyman model 48 peep sight is included. The one brass coloured knob on the peep sight looks like a replacement. I haven’t used the sight. It came off of the carbine. Currently being sold as a pair for $1800 PLUS ACTUAL SHIPPING. I may look at reasonable offers. If not sold on here I’ll send them to auction in a bit. PAL will be validated online with the CFC. Local pick up may be possible in Oshawa at the 401.
