Stevens 44 Falling Block .22 LR Vintage Rifle

NO TRADES. Vintage Stevens 44 falling block rifle in 22 LR. 24 inch barrel has been professionally relined so the bore is excellent. Extractor is intact and it shoots and functions A1. There is no lever droop. Wood stocks appear to have the original finish. Butt plate is the steel curved rifle style. Numbers matching on barrel and action. Not much bluing left as the metal has started to patina. Stampings on the half octagonal half round barrel are clear. There is one very fine hair line crack on the upper right tang area of the butt stock wood but 90% of people wouldn’t notice it. Action screw heads show some marring but can be dressed or replaced. No rear sight elevator. Nice old walnut and steel vintage USA made rifle in the grown up heavy duty version of the Stevens Favorite rifles. No this is NOT a Favorite. $900 FIRM PLUS ACTUAL SHIPPING.
