Winchester Model 70 Ranger (Featherweight) 6.5x55 with Scope

This is the push feed action model not controlled feed.  The Winchester 70 “Ranger” model in 6.5x55 is the same build and bluing of the 70 Featherweight that was put into a plain hardwood stock to be marketed with the other “Ranger” 70 models in the common calibers. While the .270/30-06/243 versions have cheaper finishes and no bottom magazine metal this one retained the high luster bluing, bottom metal, and engine turned bolt finish. 22 inch featherweight barrel has an excellent bore. Bluing is good with some finish loss on the outer edge of the muzzle. Bolt handle knob edges show some bluing wear. Plain hardwood stock has been refinished. It has the factory Winchester butt pad on it and sling swivels. No cracks in the wood. Scope mounted is a Bushnell Banner 3.5-10 x 40 with a duplex recticle and adjustable objective. Optics are clear and work A1. Comes with rings and Weaver bases. Also comes with a set of Talley ultra light ring mounts. This rifle has been hunted with but not abused. Round count is 200. The barrel is drilled and tapped for sights. I do have a new take off sight set in inventory from another 6.5 I sold earlier. If you want those sights add $150 to the purchase price.
