It’s a very rare Savage Navy revolver used in Civil War, caliber .36. Total production is only 20,000 and lasted for only 2 years. This example is in fair to good condition, covered in brown patina. No heavy pitting on metal. Wood has handling marks but no crack or major damage. Action working well, lever rotates the cylinder and cocks the hammer. Lockup tight. One screw at the bottom seems replacement. There is a H inspection stamp on the side of barrel. Cylinder nipples on cylinder are worn but should be still usable. See Flicker album for all details.
