G’day,
I have for sale a Long Branch 1943 No4 Mk1* all original parts and furniture.
The bolt is LB stamped but numbers mismatched to the rifle, but headspace’s correctly and functions as expected.
It has a 2 groove bore that is shiny, sharp and crisp.
The furniture is wartime production that is solid with no cracks and only superficial external marks and has the expected LB manufacture marks and C/I\ stamps on the underside of the forend and wrist of butt stock and in the metal on the topside of the buttsocket
It is fitted with a steel buttplate.
As noted in the pics there is some slight pitting on the frame and the rear hand guard retaining ring.
There was also superficial surface rust to the underside of the barrel at the joint for the front and rear hand guards. Evidently moisture had collected at this point.
I have not shot this rifle.
